Slobodan Tedić has returned to Čukarički. Tedić (23) went to Manchester City in January 2020 for three million euros, but he didn’t have the opportunity to make his debut for the team in the meantime. He went on unsuccessful loans to Zwolle, Barnsley, and Charlton, before returning to Banovo brdo after four years. He arrives after the termination of his loan at English League One side Charlton, and has signed a two-year contract with “brđani” with the possibility of extension if both parties are satisfied. Tedić will immediately join the team for their training camp in Cyprus, where he will have the chance to impress coach Gordan Petrić. The only competition for him is the young Cvetković, as Adetunđi has left Banovo brdo in the meantime. “Boba” is originally from Vojvodina, but it was at Čukarički under Aleksandar Veselinović that he made a name for himself, scoring 21 goals in 75 appearances.
