Nikola Jokić Impressively Dominates NBA Match
Nikola Jokić once again proved that he is the best basketball player in the world. In his career, he has managed to score 40 or more points in a game, although he didn’t break his personal record of 50 points the previous night. Nevertheless, he played one of the most perfect games in the NBA league. Amazingly, he also made 12 out of 14 free throws. It is important to note that Jokić, playing for 36 minutes on the court – considering his role as a playmaker – did not have a single turnover, which is truly mind-boggling.
Jokić’s exceptional performance in the first half speaks for itself. He scored 26 points, grabbed six rebounds, made five assists, and had three blocks, while only missing three shots. However, he slightly lost his rhythm in the second half but still managed to lead his team, Denver, to victory. Apart from Jokić, Porter Jr. and Murray also contributed with 19 points each, while Gordon (11) and Caldwell-Pope (10) scored in double digits. On the other side, Kuzma led Washington with 17 points, followed by Gafford and Jones with 15 points each. Deni Avdija struggled with only four points. He made just one shot out of five in his 18 minutes on the court, but he did contribute with eight rebounds and three assists, although it wasn’t enough to help the Wizards.
