Head Coach of Montenegro’s National Football Team: Robert Prosinečki

Robert Prosinečki has officially been chosen as the new coach of Montenegro. He and Miodrag Radulović will now collaborate in the federation, 30 years after winning the European championship together with Red Star in 1991.

Following unsuccessful attempts to qualify for the European Championship with Radulović, who came close to eliminating Serbia, it remains to be seen if Prosinečki will fulfill the nation’s dream and lead the national team to the 2026 World Cup. Before that, the Nations League awaits, with the draw scheduled for next week.

Prior to this appointment, Prosinečki served as assistant coach for Croatia under Slaven Bilić, and then managed Red Star, Kayserispor, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, back to Kayserispor, Denizlispor, Olimpija Ljubljana, and Rudeš. BONUS VIDEO:
