FSS signs contract with new sponsor
The Football Association of Serbia (FSS) has officially signed a contract with the company “Liu Jo”. The FSS delegation, consisting of vice president Branislav Nedimović, general secretary Jovan Šurbatović, and sports sector director Miroslav Tanjga, recently visited Bologna as guests of the football club with the same name for a championship match against Sassuolo. During the visit, the renowned owner of the Italian fashion house, Marko Marki, along with his team, presented the latest models from the summer and winter collections, specially designed for the needs of the Serbian national team players, coaching staff, and FSS delegation.
The trip to Italy also included discussions with two well-known sports equipment manufacturers regarding potential collaboration in the new cycle of World Cup qualifications, which will take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico in 2026. Furthermore, the text on the official FSS website mentions the prestigious individual award received in 2020 by the current director of the FSS sports sector, Miroslav Tanjga, who was recognized as the best coach in the country with the Golden Ball FSS award. It also highlights the excellent performance of Bologna this season, led for a period of time by Tanjga, who is now with FSS, and their fight for a place in the Champions League.
Additionally, the article emphasizes the significance of the new sponsorship, stating that the partnership with the fashion house “Liu Jo” represents a combination of outstanding sports performance and elegant style. It serves as proof that the Serbian national team has gained a great reputation in European and world football over the last three years, thereby securing the trust of sponsors and business partners for the FSS.
