Luka Jović scores goals for Milan, Fiorentina drops him
In December, Luka Jović scored a goal and provided an assist in a 3-1 victory, hinting at his return to form. Frozinone coach Euzebio Di Frančesko discussed Luka over the weekend. Luka has scored seven goals for Milan since the beginning of December, leading to reports that the Rossoneri want to keep him beyond this season.
The former Serbian international, whose contract with Milan expires at the end of June, was not included in the previous “A” team selections. Meanwhile, Fiorentina has not resolved the issue of a striker and recently loaned Andrea Belotti (30) from Roma for €750,000. Following the departure of Luka Jović, Fiorentina acquired Spezia’s forward, Mbala Nzola, for around €12 million, but he disappointed by scoring only four goals in his first 30 appearances for “La Viola.”
On the other hand, Luka Jović is finding his rhythm and form, for which he was once one of the most sought-after strikers in the world at Eintracht Frankfurt, prompting Real Madrid to pay a whopping €63 million for him.
