Jovan Mijatović’s farewell message from Crvena Zvezda
The beloved star pet of the fans has left the club with the song “Manjifika.” He posted a collage of his photos in red and white, along with the song “Pukni zoro” by Manjifika. “There is a place where we will all meet again… see you,” says the narrator in the video, and Mijatović sends his message to his followers, while clearly struggling with the separation from Zvezda. He grew up at “Marakana” in every sense of the word, and this season he was the top scorer of the “A” team, despite being only 18 years old.
Jovan Mijatović is a native of Belgrade and has played 36 games for Zvezda’s “A” team, scoring 10 goals and setting up three. He quickly became a favorite among fans, always friendly to the club’s children. He made his debut under the leadership of Miloš Milojević in the Europa League, played under the leadership of Barak Bahar in the Champions League, and nevertheless will not be collaborating with Vladan Milojević, the most significant coach of Zvezda in the post-Bari era, who returned to the club this winter.
