Kem Birch doesn’t come to Red Star and Partizan, he goes to Girona
Kem Birch will finally sign for Girona. The legendary Spanish basketball player, who recently decided to retire, will thus engage the American player. Red Star and Partizan were interested in him this summer. Then there was speculation that he would go to Željko Obradović’s team.
Instead, Bruno Kaboklo was engaged. “There are many situations around players that we follow, we watch players who have been released and we always try to implement the ideas of our coaching staff,” said the club’s president Federico Casarin. Birch is 31 years old and is currently a free agent after being released from the San Antonio Spurs. After finishing college, he was in the developmental league, then in Usak, and then after a season working with Janis Sferopoulos in Olympiacos, he went to the NBA.
He spent four years in Orlando, two in Toronto, and when he was traded to San Antonio in February, he no longer set foot on the court. (MONDO – N.S.) BONUS VIDEO:
